BBC, the UK, 1998 BBC does not normally verify, but the station has made a great exception when its German Service celebrated its 60th anniversary in 1998. But, alas, that remarkable event did not prevent Brits from closing down this service in 1999.

Südwestfunk, Germany, 1995 Regional German station from Baden Baden, unified afterwards with Süddeutscher Rundfunk, a similar station from Stuttgart. Used to transmit on 7265 kHz with 20 kW power.
Channel Africa, South Africa, 1995 Represents Republic of South Africa in international air. Schedule declares that Africa is the main broadcasting target; nevertheless, good reception in Europe is also possible.
